@SaiF
Sorry for the delayed response. I have family in for my daughter's first birthday, so I have been a little lax on the biz for a few days.

I agree that podcasting is a great way to find and reach an audience. For me though, it's a great way to teach something. As far as a mic, a lot of people I know use a good quality usb mic, plugged right into the computer. There are a a lot of good ones out there. I don't use one, bit I hear the Snowball USB mic is a good choice for podcasting. Just google it. I'm glad the sound quality of my recordings is up to par. I have just been using a good quality USB Headset/Mic combo from Logitech, and the sound has been good enough that I haven't found the need to upgrade yet.

Hi Ian!

I think part of web 2.0 is also podcasting!

And I really like the quality of the sound from your mic!

Can you please give me a quick recommendation?

What mic and software are you using the podcast?

I got an idea for an Entrepreneur Express Podcast and I'm super excited so please get back to me, Ian! =) THANKS!

@ Barry,
That is a great suggestion, and I will definitely get into credit card processing.
To get started right away, check out paypal.com. Basically, you attach a bank account to your paypal account, and then people can use paypal to pay you with a credit card.

I would get on creating a business entity right away- LLC or Corp, so you can open a business checking account in the company's name. If you are going to put it off for some reason, you can still get a Tax ID number as a Sole Proprietor to open a separate business checking account.
I have a Video Tutorial on getting a Tax ID number on this site, so check it out.
Good Luck

Ok, I got my website up. Not sure if it's web 2.0 yet but it is a work in progress. I got my toll free 800 number like you said and am working on incorporating soon.

One thing I hope that you would cover is credit card processing and pricing. Most of my orders will be done over the phone. Is there a less expensive way to accept credit cards without paying $29.95 a month for subscriber services etc.?

Also what is the importance of a DUNS number? Should you have one? Does it help to have one? If I got one what can I do with it?

Great show Ian! I love the whole concept of meshing family life with business life. The last thing an entrepreneur needs is to lose the family to business pursuits. Keep the information coming.

Hi, Ian. Lindsay from the IBMA.

You're doing great with your podcasts. I listened to the first three last week. Just downloaded this one to listen to on the next dog walk. I really need to get my voice in gear and record a show for my site too. ;)
