I don't use one, bit I hear the Snowball USB mic is a good choice for podcasting. Just google it. I'm glad the sound quality of my recordings is up to par. I have just been using a good quality USB Headset/Mic combo from Logitech, and the sound has been good enough that I haven't found the need to upgrade yet. @SaiF

To get started right away, check out paypal.com. Basically, you attach a bank account to your paypal account, and then people can use paypal to pay you with a credit card. If you are going to put it off for some reason, you can still get a Tax ID number as a Sole Proprietor to open a separate business checking account.
